gimp window fills complete screen

gimp window fills complete screen
The unit and scale boxes at the bottom of the screen are obscured and the bottom of the toolbox cannot be accessed, I cannot move it up the screen. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this. Would be grateful,halligant
