PLT/HPGL plug-in ?

I don't know as for the GIMP, neither do I know what a PLT file is.

Burt i experimented with thet app "convert" in the command line, and it did fine in converting an animated gif to a PLT file (meanning it accept layers), and back to PNG.

convert is part/frontend to the ImagemMgick package, wich is standard in modern GNU/Linux installs. If you doesn't have it installed, it is here:

Version: @(#)ImageMagick 5.4.2 01/01/02 Q:16 http://www.imagemagick.org
