read layers in psd files

Hi
Now that I know that I cannot read text from gif files. Is it possible to read layers in psd files? Thanks

Do you mean Postscript files? If so, I would use the pstotext script that comes with Ghostscript. That will extract the text for you.

Do you mean Postscript files? If so, I would use the pstotext script that
