GIMP Tool Box Layers

GIMP Tool Box Layers
My tool box keeps disappearing. And most importantly, my layers box disappeared as well. I can't find anything online that can bring them back and appear. I've already checked and tried many times using toolbox preference/options... set layer path active...
I need to switch from one layer to another. And move them around as well.

Another possibility is that it is shown off-screen (used dual displays in the past?).

Nopes. It just disappears. I even re-installed. But they're all just gone and won't show.

GIMP Tool Box Layers
Delete your personal user folder and restart GIMP.
If you installed some plugins/scripts there, then just move them or the whole personal folder somewhere and restart GIMP.
