I just installed Gimp 2.0 and am attempting to get back into using it ( it's been a little while... ;) I have also decided to learn some scheme and start writing some plugins.

To begin with, I am implementing Ron Scott's tutorial on creating Transparent Objects as a plug-in.

So far so good, but I cannot get the gimp-curves-spline command to affect the alpha channel (it works fine on the other channel options ( 0-3), but I need it to be applied to the alpha channel....

It works perfectly if I run the alpha channel curve adjustment manually at the end of the script and continue by hand, but obviously I would like to automate the entire process...
