Parthas builds for Windows are well known meanwhile in the GIMP community. He also offers builds now for Mac and has a late development version (GIMP 2.9) that includes all the stuff of our latest preview on GIMP 2.10.

The nice thing on these unofficial builds is that Partha includes different plugins for photographers out-of-the-box in the stable builds. Some builds also have GMIC, UFRaw and beautify included. Head over to partha.com if you’re interested in one of these builds:

  • GIMP 2.8.4 for Windows 32 Bit (stable)
  • GIMP 2.8.4 for Windows 64 Bit (stable) (+GMIC, +beautify, +UFRaw)

Nice review; Partha's definitely a blessing to the Windows folk; he was the first to host RGGJAN and also recently updated it for the 2.8 versions of GIMP. Wish the GIMP folk would incorporate RGGJAN. :)
