Must there be a new toolbox for every new image I open?

This discussion is connected to the gimp-user-list.gnome.org mailing list which is provided by the GIMP developers and not related to gimpusers.com.

This is a read-only list on gimpusers.com so this discussion thread is read-only, too.

Is there a command line switch you could use, so that if you're already running GIMP, and load a new image, it would be included in the current session, instead of having a new toolbox created?

I have associated GIMP with jpg/png images in Mozilla, so that's why I would like such a feature. Every new image I open invokes a new toolbox, which is redundant in this case.
