Annoying presets.
I always work the same way with PS files. I bring them in
grayscale with a certain density. I save them again with no
offsets, as encapulated Postscript-2 and with exactly the
same name as they came in with.
Gimp will remember some of my preferences when I do several
files in a row. But if I Gimp I end up with the original settings.
Worse, if I save a file named foo.ps it tries to save it as
foo.ps-pg1 which it then doesn't recognize as a Postscript
file! This is unhelpful behaviour.
How can I get the Gimp program to hold my favorite setup
values from run to run?
HOw do I eliminate the appending of -pg1?
Best,
John Culleton
