external hard drive

Hello,

I scanned my negatives and saved them onto my external hard drive.

I tried to open the folder on GIMP but I cannot see the folder.

Apparently, the drive isn't recognised / found. How can I connect the external hard drive so I can open and work on my image files.

I have very little tech know how..so if any one can assist me I would be so grateful.

Hello Not sure what operating system you use so a - is go the other way try this - "low tech version"

- go into Ext HD > image file you want to work on right click 'open with' choose Gimp after image file is opened in Gimp you then will have created a path between image files and Gimp and oop there it is.
