2.10.18 from otto-kesselgulasch

L.S.

It's now some weeks ago that 2.10.18 was released. Usually I found the new versions
on https://launchpad.net/~otto-kesselgulasch/+archive/ubuntu/gimp after 1 or 2 weeks.

Have I missed something: moved to another location? Hopefully the maintainer is still healthy. You don't know in these days.

Wiel

I'm using: Ubuntu 18.04, Gimp 2.10.14

2.10.18 from otto-kesselgulasch

Under Ubuntu, another possibility is using the Flatpak GIMP version, which is automatically updated.

You could file a wishlist bug for getting 2.10.18 packaged there at https://bugs.launchpad.net/~otto-kesselgulasch

But it has some weird usage limitations (not sharing "Recent files" with the rest of the system, for instance) and adding plugins is complicated.

2.10.18 from otto-kesselgulasch

Hallo,

you you could install snap. Pay attention, the package to install is called snapd, not just snap. Just snap is something different.

and then do

snap install gimp

That should give you version 2.10.18.

Hope this helps.
