GEGL Drop Shadow and text layer

Hi,

To emboss a text, I use the following:

- Create text

- Text layer size to image

- Displace

-Alpha to selection

-Drop shadow

-Delete layer text

-Emboss

This works well if I use the Drop Shadow (Legacy) plug-in, but fails if I use the new GEGL Drop Shadow filter (with GIMP-2.10.8 under Ubuntu.18-04 and Opensuse Leap-15.0): no drop shadow is created.

I cannot find why.
