How tell Gimp which is preferred email program?

Hi

Do not know if this is a Gimp question. How to tell Gimp that Apple Mail is not prefered email client but Opera mail is?

I want programs to use Opera to send email and not use Mail. some programs like Gimp and Libreoffice are able to send files on email. I want them to use Opera mail and not use Mail from Apple. How could I tell my machine Opera mail is prefered email client?

working on OSX 10.7.5

This is a Mac question not a Gimp question. Open mail, check preferences to set the default.
