Can you install Gimp 2.2 and Gimp 2.4 on Feisty at the same time?

If yes how do you do it without getting install errors.

Damon, this is because the libexif version which is shipped with Ubuntu 7.04 is too old. I would have to include a new libexif with the GIMP, and I haven't done this yet because it would be another error source. I will include libexif with the final GIMP 2.4 - of course, if Ubuntu 7.10 (with GIMP 2.4 final) is not released until then.

I've noticed that when saving photo's in .jpg format there's no option in Advanced Options to save the exif data. Will this be fixed in the final version? This works just fine in gimp 2.2.13 packaged with Ubuntu 7.04.

I notice it doesn't recognise Wacom tablets in a default Ubuntu install. I'm guessing this has something to do with xorg.conf being configured to use /dev/mice as the pointer, and so the tablet is appearing as a standard mouse? I don't know what magic the packaged Gimp 2.2 does to get around this and work out of the box.
