Can anyone help installing the Canon N1220U scanner to work with GIMP. I made de download of a installer from Canon that search for a local to instal the driver. The problem is that the installer do not give me back any location path
and I don't have any idea where shoud I put it. Thanks again

In GNU/Linux, you should run the "xsane" program as a scanner front end.

If that is working, then you can search for the third party xsane plug-in for the GIMP - that is the way it connects to scanners.
