Blurred fonts?

Hi,

I'm using gimp 2.2.10 in FC5 to view these images:

http://www.simonf.com/junk.prn http://www.simonf.com/junk.prn.pdf

and the fonts appear very blurred. Gimp 1.0 used to handle them better, and the pdf file looks fine in Acrobat. Can you please suggest something to improve the look of such files?
