overwrite problem

Hi,

I am having an 'overwrite file' problem in 2.3.18. When trying to save a file that already exists, ask as usual if you want to overwrite. If you say YES, it does NOT overwrite, and writes a Untilted.xcf file instead.

Are you absolutely sure? What does it display in the image status bar?

I cannot reproduce this, tried with GTK+ 2.10.13 and GTK+ 2.11.3.

I got this 3 different days, and several times...

I cannot reproduce this, tried with GTK+ 2.10.13 and GTK+ 2.11.3.

Strange...
Because now I cannot reproduce this either! And I made no systems updates.

Well, sorry for this. If I get the same behavior again, will report back.
