tile cache default

Hi all,

The current default tile cache size is 32M. I would like to suggest 128M as a more reasonable default value for 1.3 CVS.

Are there any objections?

Cheers, Dave.

Yes. 128M sounds unreasonably large. I think we can assume that most users have 128MB RAM nowadays but it would be wrong to assume that a large part of users work with 256MB RAM. If we want to change this default, I'd say we go for 64MB.

Yes, I agree. If it changes at all, it should be 64.

Dito.
I would see 64Mb as a reasonable amount as well.

Advice taken, the change is in CVS.

Dave.
