clean-up project

Hi,

A horizontal tool option bar between the toolbox and menu bar is definitely handy as far as accessing properties settings is concerned.

I am happy this will eventually be implemented in Gimp.

Personally, I'd like to see that happen as well. However I have no idea how you arrived at the conclusion that this will be done.Could you please elaborate? Thanks :)

I was thinking about that, and then I realised that I am not exactly sure what you mean.

do you mean that what is right now in the tool options panel should be layer out in a horizontal bar?

In general, I miss a bit of skepticism amongst the greater GIMP community - some seem to believe everything that's written somewhere, without requiring or requesting additional proof.

You want scepticism? Ok, where would we find that additional proof published? Along with evidence that you are working towards that goal.

On www.gimp.org, docs.gimp.org, and wiki.gimp.org.

And it is a good idea to ask a member of the core development team to verify or falsify the information found there (or anywhere else). A good way to do this are the gimp-developer mailing list and the #gimp irc channel on irc.gimp.org.

In the current case, a simple question like "Is this a decided feature, or a suggestion?" (NB: the latter) would have prevented the (alleged) misunderstanding from happening.
