is it possible to combine icons

Hi,

On windows (I imagine same on other OS's) an icon file can contain numerous icon files (e.g. 16x16, 32x32, 48x48) which are used depending on file view (list, details, thumbnails).

After creating the different icons with the gimp, is it possible to combine then into one? :)

If not, can anyone recommend a tool that can do this?

Thank you, Rael

You should be able to do this with the winicon exporter in GIMP. At least in the 2.3 version it allows to save a layered image as a multi-resolution window icon.
