Plugin registry broken (no logins allowed)

For several days, the Gimp plugin registry has been refusing all log-ins. If asked for a password reminder, it sends back the correct password (unencrypted!), but then it does not let log in. The problem is, of course, that people cannot upload new plug-ins, nor update the information for existing ones.

I sent an email to the maintainer some 10 days ago, without results. If anybody here on the list knows of a solution, or how to contact the maintainers, it would be appreciated.
