What I did to solve a problem similar to this (need a vending machine to face the opposite way). I flipped the machine to create a mirror image, and so of course the text was backward on the face of the machine, I then selected the texted by it-self and reflipped it back to the original direction, had to tweak it a little but it looks fine. I can send it to you as before/after if you would to like an example.
