Stretching the toolbar

Hi,

I've just installed the gimp 2.3.9. I placed the toolbar to the top of the screen but I cannot stretch it all the way across the screen; a small space always remains to the right, about 1 cm. Why is this? By the way, I appreciate the improved interface.
