Hi list,

I have a huge image and need to compress the size of it. Could someone tell me what are the differences between the 4 types of compretion like on:

LZW, "Empacotar bits" and Deflate are lossless compression algorithms much like those used in zip files. They are better used on synthetic images like screenshots, logos, etc.

JPEG is the JPEG lossy compression used in JPG files. Better used on natural images like those from a camera.
