photomosaic, photocomposition

Hi,

Does anybody know if it possible (and if it is, how) to create an image from a given photo but at the same time the new photo image should be made from other pictures (around 100 pictures). That will create the effect that looking at the image from away you see the main photo, but getting closer to the image then you see all the other pictures.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Xavi

The first hit when googling for "gimp photomosaic":

That looks like a really neat plug-in. Thanks, Michael. Xavier, if you try it out, please do let us know how it goes.
