Mark, Thank you very much-problem that wasn't really a problem solved. I've got over 10 gigs of JPGs, that have all been painstakingly touched-up, color corrected, and chosen out of about that many more, so yes I was a bit paranoid when instead of my normal view of thumbs, I saw the Gimp. Thanks once again, Jason
