script to convert a series of png into video

Hi all;

Please, do you know about some script already done there out to convert in batch mode a series of png files into an avi or pmeg file, just specifying the images and the time for each picture?

Thanks and regards,

Javier

try mencoder (part of mplayer) or animate (ImageMagick)
