POSSIBLE BUGS

First, I am not a real expert.
I just downloaded gimp 2.10. I am interested in attaching medadata to my family photos. your XMP.
I tried to open a photo to practice on and gimp will not let me open the photo. See attached screenshots.
I found the medadata under image but it refuses to open see attached screenshots.
I read about your convenient and easy access bug report, but I could not find it anywhere and any of your menus.

So I am attempting to reported here.
