Trouble downloading

I'm having trouble with the downloading on your program. My laptop says it has downloaded, but it won't open.

Trouble downloading

Hi,
It is likely that you are downloading the torrent-version of the installer. In order to download the setup file directly, follow this link (provided you are using Windows): download.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.8/windows/gimp-2.8.14-setup-1.exe

You can also download this file from the gimp website (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/), the link is marked "this link" a in smaller text written under the "Download GIMP 2.8.14"-headline.
