Exporting as Indexed when its set to RGB

Hi,

I've made a couple of .gif files (all with animations) with GIMP perfectly fine. However, just recently I've noticed that even though the gif is set in RGB mode, no matter what I do it exports as indexed with limited colors, lowering the quality. It did not do that before.

I did recently install GAP, so maybe that has something to do with it, but I have no idea what settings that is connected to.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
