Interesting perhaps, but very badly researched. The author of this review obviously didn't even attempt to understand the GIMP user interface. I doubt that he spent more like half an hour with The GIMP albeit it certainly took him longer to understand Photoshop. His remarks about text rendering are simply wrong and we all know that GIMP is not a native Mac OS X application so he can't really expect it to behave like one.
