gimp-print for gimp 2.0

What is the status of gimp-print for gimp 2.0? I went to sourceforge, and couldn't find any information about plans to support the new release.

Right now, of the software installed on my box, Konqueror seems to be the best bet since it allows me to easily select either my color printer or the default b&w laser printer. OpenOffice also works well, but I would really like to be able to use gimp-print so I don't have to load a separate application.

GIMP-2.0.0 depends on Gimp-Print-4.2.x to be installed for the print plug-in to be compiled.
