Re the issues that Akkana mentioned:

The margins can be handled within gimp, and probably the paper size too -- I was unable to test this when I was sorking on it so didn't try to handle it. The two Page Setup functions, the bad placement of the layout stuff, and the disappearing dialog when doing print preview are all GtkPrint "features", presumably due to the fact that Page Setup, Print Preview, and Print are separate items in the standard Windows menu -- in any case they are not easily changeable at the GIMP level.
