I am realively new to GDK+. I would like to know how to compile the source files of Gimp in windows. Is it possible?

Yes. But why do you want to do it? Especially if you are inexperienced? Tell us more about what background you have, and it will be easier to say whether it might be a good idea for you to try to compile it yourself or not.

Tor Lillqvist is the maker of the most widely used Windows build of the GIMP (as far as I can tell).

So, yes, it is possible to compile the GIMP under Windows.
