Automatic builds for gimp-help-2-8 branch and master branch
Hi all,
we have finally managed to set up automatic builds for the gimp-help-2-8
and master branches of gimp-help-2.
GIMP 2.9.x (aka git master)
----------
The master branch builds once per hour, starting at the 23rd minute and
is available on
https://docs.gimp.org/2.9/
This will be picked up by a GIMP 2.9 automatically (2.9 used to be a
redirect to 21.8 on docs.gimp.org so far).
GIMP 2.8.x
----------
The gimp-help-2-8 branch currently builds once per day at 03:00 and is
available on https://docs.gimp.org/test/2.8/
To have a GIMP 2.8 pick this up, the environment variable GIMP2_HELP_URI
has to be set as follows:
GIMP2_HELP_URI="https://docs.gimp.org/test/2.8/"
How and where this is set depends on the platform. On Linux, this
can be done by running GIMP with the following command line:
GIMP2_HELP_URI="https://docs.gimp.org/test/2.8/" gimp-2.8 &
It would be nice to get some testing done for the gimp-help-2-8 branch
branch, as it is intended to replace the current
https://docs.gimp.org/2.8/ content, which is some quite old state by now.
