Scaling LoHalo broken?

Hi, I'm using the GIT-Version from 2016 / 02 / 26 .

I have a problem with the LoHalo scaling - it behaves erratic.

On one image it took less than a minute. But for a different image I had to kill Gimp after 15 minutes (on a 4 x 3GHz machine). On the same image which didn't succed in 15 minutes, the NoHalo option succeeded in less than a minute.

Am I missing something or is LoHalo just broken.

It often takes longer than 15 minutes for me - depending on image size.
