Strings freeze for 2.8 is on

Strings freeze for 2.8 is on

Hi,

We seem to have fixed the last i18n issues in 2.7, hence strings freeze is on. That means no more changes to user visible messages. Translators should feel safe to catch up on what's changed since the last time they updated the respective PO files.

If you won't be in time with updates for 2.8, this isn't a big deal, because updates can go to 2.8.1 etc.

No mistery. They just ship extra plug-ins.

As for "View > Use GEGL", it wasn't planned to be made user visible in the final release, AFAIK.

Oh, and btw both Separate+ and Liquid rescale can be translated (separately). No idea if it works on Windows, though.

It seems that something thawed the freeze, because ~5 trings were changed on the main .po file and ~36n the plugins .po.

Should we expect further changes until 2.8 release ?

Unfortunately it's possible. I'm not happy about that either, but that's what we have to deal with.
