GIMP on MacBook

Help!

I have been using GIMP for years on Windows. I’m no pro, but I get by. Since purchasing my MacBook and downloading GIMP, I find it incapable of doing simple things.

Drop shadow sometimes works. Alignment doesn’t work at all.
Borders don’t work at all.

And these are just what I've found so far. There must be some setting that’s off or something I’m missing. Any advice?

GIMP on MacBook

GIMP is a free and open-source image manipulation software that’s extremely popular on the Mac OS. If you don’t know what GIMP is, you should probably look into it. I prefer to check https://www.ninjaessays.com/buy-custom-essay/ and get new things about the study. It’s a powerful image editing tool that has over a decade of development behind it. GIMP is capable of creating photo look-a-likes, photo effects, and even 3D models.
