How to highlight regions of image
I am a gimp newbie. I would imagine what I'm asking for has been asked many times (I couldn't find it in a current FAQ).
I simply have an image with some regions that I want to highlight "with a yellow marker".
I found this doc: https://gimplearn.net/viewtopic.php?t=49 , but it doesn't appear to be up to date to current gimp (I just installed it a few minutes ago). For instance, after dragging the foreground layer into the selection, it describes setting "Multiply" layers mode. I don't see that anywhere.
What is the current guidance for doing something like this?
