Enhancing contrast on multiple pages at one time

I have several (10) pages of text that were scanned and are still a bit faint. I am able to improve the image using the "color/brightness" settings, but so far have only been able to do it one page at a time.

All the pages are similarly "thin", in terms of exposure & contrast. Is there any way to select all 10 pages and "group enhance" the full set? (As, for example one can sometimes group modify some photo files in characteristics such as rotation & flipping, etc.)

I will be most grateful if someone might be able to provide a solution to this problem!

Two possible solutions but depends on your OS: Windows or linux should be OK but macOS poses problems

(1) The BIMP batch plugin https://alessandrofrancesconi.it/projects/bimp/ there is a macOS version, do not know if it works with bigsur. If you need a linux version there is this one https://www.gimp-forum.net/attachment.php?aid=5450

Works with your files-on-disk and one of the 'actions' is brightness-contrast

(2) The Gimp gmic plugin www.gmic.eu Open the pages as layers, hundreds of filters in the plugin for all sorts but the Channel Processing filter has Brightness and Contrast options. There is a apply-to-all-layers output option.

If separate pages are needed then you require a export layers to images plugin / script. Several of those around if you search.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm somewhat a "newbie" with working with GIMP, so these sound possible, but may be tricky for me. I'll try attempting it and see what happens. Wish me luck!

I forgot to specify that the pages I'm trying to enhance are JPG images, which may not have been clear in my original post. (I'm going to see if I can edit that original post to fix that little oversight). Thanks again.
