2.10.24 version stuff not working

I downloaded Gimp 2.10.24 the other day and have found a couple of things not working for me.

Control+Z doesn't undo anything Select > path doesn't work
Naming layers and new files is behaving strangely - only allows me to type 2 letters.

These things were working in the older version I was using. If anybody has any suggestions here, I'd appreciate it very much.

2.10.24 version stuff not working

Sounds very odd - what operating system are you using?

I downloaded Gimp 2.10.24 the other day and have found a couple of things not working for me.

Control+Z doesn't undo anything Select > path doesn't work
Naming layers and new files is behaving strangely - only allows me to type 2 letters.

These things were working in the older version I was using. If anybody has any suggestions here, I'd appreciate it very much.

2.10.24 version stuff not working

I don't normally use Windows now but I have just updated from GIMP V2.10.22 to 2.10.24 on an up to date Windows 10 PC and I'm not seeing the problems that you report (Ctrl-Z works, Select/From Path works, new layers can have more than two character names)

The above was after installing version 3 of the 2.10.24 from www.gimp.org
