GIMP 2.10.22 came and went?

For a day or two recently, the main GIMP website (gimp.org) announced that GIMP 2.10.22 had been released on August 2, 2020. The text said it is purely a bug-fix release. However, attempts to download it just got the same 2.10.20 -1 file that was posted in June. As of just now, the GIMP website no longer mentions version 2.10.22. What happened?! Thanks.
