guash - installation

Hi,

I'm running gimp-1.2.3 on SuSE 7.3 and I'm trying to install guash.

When I just try "gimptool --install guash.c" I get after a few lines: .....
guash.c:65: version: No such file or directory .....

But VERSION exists, so I renamed it to lower case and it was found. Now however the compilation stops at this point without comment.

I opened "version", but I didn't understand, what I could do. Just uncommenting the version-definition made the compilation crash too.

Somebody knows what I could do?
