Suggestion: ZOOM>Fit Image to Window (leave some padding)

Suggestion: ZOOM>Fit Image to Window (leave some padding)

(P.S. shouldn't there be a separate forum for suggestions; as I am not looking for Help nor Support)

"Zoom>Fit Image to Window" is great except for: If you zoom a portrait image; how can you start a selection at the top of image without grabbing a guide bar?

We just need a small canvas padding to fix this.

Else I'm back to: {CTRL-mouse-wheel to zoom out};
select ZOOM-TOOL;
draw rectangle around image;
re-select the tool I just left
