Extract component

Hi,

Using GIMP 2.8.10

I searched unsuccessfully in the Procedure Browser for a procedure corresponding to the following function in the interface:

Colors / Components / Extract component...

Would anyone know the name of the procedure matching: Extract component ?

Thanks in advance

Gimp 2.10 Colors -> Components -> Extract Component

Useful, but unfortunately a GEGL function

Not scriptable at the moment.

Thank you for your quick reply.

(Sorry for mixing numbers, I meant: Using GIMP 2.10.8)

I found in the Procedure Browser that some procedures (for example: plug-in-autostretch-hsv) include the following text: Compatibility procedure. Please see 'gegl: ...' for credits.

Is there any information on a possible future scriptability of GEGL functions?

You will have to ask the developers

As far as I know this is still true https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/1686 Not yet implemented.

There is a non-GEGL function plug-in-autostretch-hsv in Gimp 2.8

I suppose that function is there for backward compatibility. Some older scripts/plugins might use it.
