Blurry default layer

Blurry default layer

Hi

I have a problem with a layer or something else, that makes Gimp images blurry/unclear. It makes it hard to see the image.

Apparently it is now standard when I open new images.. But i have no idea how to reset the function. Has anybody else tried the same thing. It is a bit hard for me to explain the issue so I have attached a picture to showcase the problem. I hope somebody can help me with this.

Turn the image grid off

Image menu -> untick Show Grid
