I had some time to experiment with GIMP so I tried to rebuild the Game of Thrones title that comes up after the intro music - that solar eclipse thing. I only used a painting of a dragon that I found on flickr and the stony texture you can see around the medallion. I had some trouble to merge the dragons with the stones-texture and to create a look on them thats not too "flat". Especially the correct lighting was difficult - so I just made a higher contrast to conceal the differences. For the glowing metal stuff in the middle I've used the "Relief light" filter in the G'MIC plugin.

What do you think about it? If someone wants to take a closer look at the xcf file just tell me - it's 22MB so I will upload it if anyone wants it.
