Enquire on Gimp Features

Hi,

I like to do an effect on an image like stroke, drop shadows, glow, etc. Like in a photoshop I can have these features and able to toggle on and off. I wonder if this is available in Gimp?

Hi sunnypixels,

I believe these features are available in gimp. Try perusing the menus, the docs - https://www.gimp.org/docs/ - or web searches.

GIMP doesn't have layer effects yet.

Hi Sunny,

These effects can be easily replicated, especially with text, by duplicating your object on a layer below your prime object. Not a one-button solution but close enough.
