Get the shadows in these clothes

Hello.

I have a picture of a t-shirt here: http://i29.tinypic.com/2dui4gp.jpg

I'm going to make a new one like that, but I'm going to change the style of it and make a new "design".
The problem is that I HAVE to keep the shadows that you can see in the shirt.

How is it possible to remove everything except the shadows that makes the t-shirt look "real".

I want to make a shadow-layer or something like that, if it's possible.

Thank you.

Try Colors/Hugh Saturation.

Just mess with the settings if you don't understand what each one does, and you will get the hang of it.

Oh, Upon further analysis, I realize that I answered the wrong question. I thought you wanted to change the color of the shirt for some reason.

Can you explain a little more about what you want to do, I am not quite sure.

If you study the t-shirt a bit, you will se that there is some... shadows. On the shirt. They make the t-shirt look a bit more realistic.

I want to make a totally new design on the shirt (I have made it). It's not gonna be any stripes.
But I have to use the shadows from the old t-shirt in the new one.

The t-shirt is gonna be used in a 3D-game in Norway and it's very important that these shadows are in my new t-shirt.

But i don't know how to remove the orange and white so I'm just getting the shadows and then copy/paste it to the new shirt.

You can see my new shirt here: http://i39.tinypic.com/fjhuop.png

I just need shadows on it before it may be used.

Hope you understood now.

Here: http://i39.tinypic.com/16ljy8o.png I've made a rough sketch were you will find the shadows that I want to use ;)

It's probably easier to make new shadows.

See this file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4747089/Upper_body_template-GNOME.xcf.zip

This is a template I was using when messing around with 3D apps. Notice the series of shadow layers with mode set to 'multiply'.

It's going to take some time to create them, but once you have your shadow layers you can then use them on multiple items.

HTH, Chris

PS - there's a bunch of unused junk in that file as well - the layers that are invisible.

I believe one thing Clothes are the best way to impress someone if you like or love. Clothes make the first impact on someone. I am a tailor and I am an expert in making designer clothes. Well, These days I am looking for embroidery machines https://www.craftyhangouts.com/best-embroidery-machine-for-hats/ to maximize my factory. I am also looking for more staff to increase the production. I am getting orders in bulk so I need manpower.
