I have an old laptop it has 512 MB ram, I would like to ask how this software could help me out and how much difference can it make. I generally use my laptop for my writing works from my college and I was looking for a topic to write an essay on. I found a few topics on https://topicsmill.com/essay/technology-essay-topics/. They have some very good topics and I really liked them. I was looking for the correct topic for me when my laptop crashed. I would like to ask if this software could help me with it.

I get the impression that you are in the wrong Forum for what you are after. GIMP is an image manipulation package and the Forum is dedicated to all things related to digital images, NOT essay topics for one of your subjects at college. A piece of friendly advise from a retired academic: I am sure your essay assignment has specific requirements. Adhere to those, do some research, and then write it by yourself, not with the help of some topic mill of which there are a dime a dozen - most of them known to lecturers.
