On gimpusers.de, there's a GIMP contest with the task to create a postcard with a short slogan. The price was a German book about GIMP 2.4 that we got sponsored by the author Bettina Lechner, so we did only accept images from our German members.

Please vote for your favourite image! Please see:

* here you can vote (at the right side)

After the contest, the images can be downloaded as GIMP (XCF) files so you can understand how they were created.
